David and I were treated with a field trip to the Croft residence just outside of Santa, ID. My friend and co-worker, Nara, grew up here with parents about as committed to their art as anyone I’ve ever met. Her father is a master paper and book maker, and her mother a meticulous weaver of baskets and woolen goods. We learned how to cut blue jeans like the French and turn them into paper, play in sandboxes, and the pleasure of an outdoor kitchen. Inspiration to the max.
